Tamwood cares for its campers as much as their parents do, and safety of all campers and staff is a top priority for Tamwood. Our carefully designed rules and procedures ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner. Also, equipment is checked regularly to ensure that it is in safe working condition.
We nip homesickness in the bud and work extra hard to make sure your kids make friends and feel connected and cared for from day one. Parents can sleep easy knowing someone is looking out for their child as much as they would.
Our Health Attendant Room at every camp is staffed by a Camp Health Attendant and is equipped to serve the daily needs of campers. In case of emergency, hospitals and medical clinics are close by in all locations.
Our approach to the health of our campers goes beyond standard medical requirements. That means taking care to ensure that things like protective sunblock and regular hand washing become part of a camperʼs daily routine.
We take this same approach to safety. In all areas of our program, we enforce strict and sensible safety rules. Our high staff-to-camper ratio, along with the extensive training our staff receive, ensure that the activities are conducted safely.
Tamwood Camps was founded in 1993, and continues to operate with an excellent health and safety record. The owners of Tamwood Camps and many of its staff are parents too, so we know that the health and safety of your children matters above all else which is why it will always be our number one priority.
