ROBOTICS CAMP

Learn and have fun with robotics. This program uses the VEX Robotics System which offers teens an exciting platform for learning about career opportunities spanning science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Through STEM learning, campers grow their ability to tackle complex problems and develop their curiosity and passion to learn and explore. Beyond science and engineering principles, a VEX Robotics project also encourages team work, leadership and problem solving among groups.

This program is designed for collaborative learning. Tamwood encourages students to utilize their English skills and any prior knowledge or experience with robotics or STEM. When not in class, students enjoy planned activities on campus as well as field trips to explore the wonderful city of Boston. Students will tour Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) and Harvard, two universities leading the industry on technology and entrepreneurship. To further develop their knowledge and understanding of robotics, students will enjoy a robotics engineering workshop hosted by M.I.T.
