News from the Campus Manager
Here's a summary of what's happening at school this week (Jan 12th - Jan 16th).
Monday – Tamwood is happy to welcome 8 new students to our General English! All new students should be at school by 8:30. If you are a new student, please check in with Neil, Tamwood's Campus Manager, or Tamwood's receptionist, Diana. New students should join Club ESL for the city tour. The city tour starts at 2:00 and takes about an hour. Activity: Free English lesson - Our Study Hall with Monique is from 12:00 - 1:00pm in the Silverstar classroom. Tuesday – First full day of classes for new students. You will receive your textbook from your grammar teacher and don't forget to do your homework!!! If you are looking to travel a little, Club ESL will be in the lounge at lunchtime to take reservations to great local destinations. Activity: Coffee club - Let's have a chat! Everyone welcome! Wednesday – Please stop by the student lounge at lunchtime to meet fellow students. Activity: Habor Tower - Spectacular views of Vancouver! Come see Vancouver from totally different perspective. Thursday – Tomorrow is graduation day. If you're graduating, don't forget to give your graduation form to your Essential English Skills' teacher and join our Tamwood Alumni at www.tamwood.com. Activity: Ice Skating - If you have never ice skated before, this is your chance! All you need to being is yourself! Friday – Graduation day! Come see your fellow Tamwood students graduate. Thank you for choosing Tamwood. We'll miss you! Activity: Granville Island and Public Market - Get the Aqua bus over to this popular island with a local food market and art-galleries.
