The resort of Whistler Resort offers students fantastic opportunities for having fun outside the classroom. The ski/snowboard season runs from late November to early August (glacier skiing/snowboarding from June to August). Summer starts early in Whistler and by April you can ski in the morning and golf or mountain bike in the afternoon.
Whistler Blackcomb skiers and riders enjoy a combination of moderate temperatures and heavy snowfall throughout the long ski season. Whistler Blackcomb is blessed with an average of 1000 cm or 30 feet of snow every winter. In summer, temperatures range from 19° to 30° C during the day and the sun sets very late in the evening giving students lots of time after classes finish to enjoy Whistler's exciting outdoor activities.
