It’s a huge house in a very nice setting, less than 20 minutes from the school by bus, a great bike ride distance away with trails everywhere. We will designate one of the 7 bedrooms as a study room so that students can go there to get some quiet and get work done.

There are 2 very large living rooms and 2 wrap around decks to sit out on. TV room, Huge Space for Ski/Snowboard gears, Free Wifi.

Deposit: $100 Homestay Homestay students are placed with carefully selected Canadian families that offer a secure and friendly environment. Students are provided with a private bedroom, bathroom facilities, meals and contact with English speaking Canadians every day. The host family provides basic information on how to function in Canada such as: how to use the bus system to go to and from school, where to shop, and how to get to the local library, bank, recreation centre and pharmacy. As Whistler is such a popular ski resort with more hotels than homes, the number of available host families in Whistler is limited Therefore, students will be assigned to single or double room accommodation on a first-come-first-served basis and may be advised that for the dates they have selected, their first choice (single or double) is not available. Tamwood will attempt to match students who request double room accommodation, but it may be that in some weeks there is no match in which case the student will have to pay for a single room. Hotels Tamwood operates its own student residence in Whistler. This very large house can host up to 24 students at a time. Students get a shared room and have use of all shared facilities including bathrooms, laundry, kitchen, living room, games and tv room, study room... This house is only a 15 bus ride from the school and lifts. A Tamwood staff person lives on site to help students and manage the house. Next
