TORONTO ACCOMMODATIONS
Homestay
Tamwood has an experienced and caring homestay coordinator who carefully screens and selects all homestays. Most homestays are 25-40 minutes from the school by local transit. Hosts provide a warm and caring environment where students can practice their English and experience Canadian traditions and culture. Students are provided with a private bedroom, bathroom facilities, meals and contact with English-speaking Canadians every day. There are a number of different homestay options:
STUDENT HOMESTAY: Single room with shared bathroom facilities. Full or Half Board.
EXECUTIVE HOMESTAY: Single room with private bathroom facilities. Full Board.
DORMITORY HOMESTAY: Large homestay that can host 5 or more students. Ideal for students who seek more independence and a very social environment. Full Board.
Apartments, Hotels & Hostels
Although Tamwood recommends homestay accommodation to students wanting to enjoy the full Canadian cultural experience, Vancouver has many other options for accommodation. Tamwood can assist students in finding safe and clean housing in apartments, hotels or hostels depending on their requirements and budget. Toronto students who are interested in apartment style accommodation will be placed in an apartment style hotel near the school.
