Winter English Language ESL Camp - Vancouver
Every year in January, Tamwood runs a special English plus Activity Winter Camp for teenage students. This ESL camp is taught at the Tamwood downtown Vancouver campus and features 15 hours per week of English classes, taught by caring and professional English teachers. Students take part in special sightseeing and cultural activities, led by Tamwood staff with English learning as a main component of every activity. Students live with carefully selected host families in Vancouver.

Vancouver is only two hours by ferry from Victoria, three hours by car from Seattle Washington and two hours by car from Whistler Resort. The winter in Vancouver is very mild with average daytime temperatures ranging from 5 to 10 Celsius. While Vancouver rarely gets cold enough to have snow, the local mountains, which can be seen from downtown, receive a lot of snow during the winter.
