ACTIVITIES
Winter – Vancouver - Host Family Programs for Teens 14-18
Activities
Three afternoons and one evening per week the students take part in a fun and educational sightseeing or recreational activity. Before each weekday activity, students are given an Activity English Assignment (AEA). The AEA is directly related to the activity that takes place that day. Students are expected to complete the assignments while on the activity and hand them into their counselors on the same day. AEA's are considered when teachers assign homework and participation marks.
On Wednesdays, students enjoy a free afternoon or they can select the Ski/Snowboard option, and take a ski or snowboard lesson for the afternoon.
On the weekends students have the option of going on a full day or overnight sightseeing excursion for a small additional fee. These excursions include tours to Victoria, Whistler and Capilano Suspension Bridge and Cypress Mountain.
